Phoenixlans Lan Party

hi guys Lan details have been put up and just wanted to see if any of you guys are interested

Lan dates 2nd to the 4th July

Quoted from forums for Tourney's

At last!! The date has now been set. so the main tourneys will be the usual suspects:

CSS TDM, names drawn at random, team size depends on numbers playing. Hopefully enough to play some sort of round robin type tournament.

CSS Gungame tourney. Exact format to be decided.

UT2k4: DM, NO instagib!! 3-5 rounds, depending on numbers.

HAWX: DM. 2 rounds of 30 mins, highest total score wins.

Grid/Toca3. This will be decided by majority vote. Format to be decided (as I have no experience of either!)

Trackmania will be running all weekend, maps on rotation. Hop on and off whenever, best times for each map will be counted and winner will be one with best times overall.

There will be an RTS tourney, exact game to be announced.

I also plan on running a big BF2 game, not sure yet if it will be a tourney or not.

think I'm the only person who doesn't see the point in LANs

"Oh yes, lets meet up so we can do what we do every other night in the same room as each other and pretty much only communicate through a headset...which we do every other night anyway"

I would go to a LAN, but I don't want to have to get my PC there, the case alone weighs loads!
